Durian Coaster Set

Durian season in Singapore was never just about the fruit. It was choosing together at the stall, arguing over which one to open first, eating over a cardboard box on a Saturday evening with family.

We made this one for that memory.

Each Durian Coaster Set, upcycles 150g of glass and metal wastes, comes with:

1 x Husk Coaster

1 x Pith Coaster

1 x Meat Coaster

which incorporate upcycled glass and metal wastes collected in Singapore to create the terrazzo texture.

Stack them together when not in use — they sit on your table as one whole durian. Pull them apart when you need them. Each piece fits cups between 8 and 10cm in diameter.

Care

Avoid scrubbing or harsh cleaning products. Wipe with damp cloth.

Notes

This collection may be a tad bit pricey as each set takes approximately 115 minutes to handcraft.

As every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted, minor details and blemishes may exist. Each piece is unique and will differ slightly in terms of colour hues, marbling and terrazzo composition.
