Awards & Momentos
1. Can I customise the design of my awards?
Yes, you can! There are primarily two forms of customisation services offered:
A. Design Customisation
You can provide us with a design brief and leave the designing of the awards to our team of designers! This will require an additional 2.5 – 4 weeks lead time where we will design, 3D model and render options before proceeding on production.
B. Style Customisation
We offer style customization of the existing award designs, such as terrazzo or marbling, and the choice of waste material (plastic waste or used coffee grounds) upcycled. Additionally, the colours for each award can also be tailored to your preferences.
2. What is the price range of trophies?
The cost of trophies varies based on multiple factors:
- Size of trophy
- Quantity
- Type of engraving material (e.g. wood or metal plate)
If you have a specific budget in mind, we can offer tailored design suggestions within that range. Please understand that due to the meticulous handcrafting process involved in creating each distinct piece and our exclusive use of handcrafted elements (excluding the engraving plate), our pricing tends to be higher compared to standard options.
For a personalised quote, feel free to reach out to us at hello@brambe.com.
3. Can I upcycle wastes generated by my organisation into the awards?
Yes definitely! We upcycle plastic wastes in terrazzo style and used coffee grounds in marbling style.
However, please note that the waste provided shall be cleaned and there will be a minimal fee charged for waste processing.

Product Care
1. How to care for my piece?
Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the piece.
Handling: Handle your piece with care, avoiding dropping or mishandling it to prevent any potential scuffs and damage.
Maintenance: You may apply beeswax periodically to maintain its water resistance capabilities.
2. Is my piece fragile?
The characteristics of Jesmonite closely resemble those of concrete, showcasing high durability against abrasion and impact. Nevertheless, similar to many materials, thinner edges may be prone to chipping when subjected to impacts.
3. Why are there gaps in my piece?
They are air bubbles! As each piece is carefully handcrafted, it is natural for such details to exist.
About Us
1. How does Brambe employ a sustainable ethos?
Materials
Our primary material is Jesmonite, an eco-friendly composite material. We also upcycle plastic, aluminium, food and horticultural wastes by incorporating them into our designs. We are also exploring alternative eco-friendly materials and new waste streams.
Production
All pieces are slow-made, meaning that they are ethically produced locally with minimization of carbon footprint in mind.
Additionally, all unused Jesmonite materials are reused into our production cycle as terrazzo flakes, generating a cradle-to-cradle, closed-loop production process.
*Psst, cradle-to-cradle suggests that waste materials are reincorporated as inputs for production, resulting in a cyclically material flow.
Cradle-To-Grave Approach
We assume responsibility for the full life cycle of our pieces where we offer recollection and upcycling services which is further elaborated under 'Services'.
*Psst, cradle-to-grave suggests the entire lifespan of a product, up till the point of disposal.
2. How is Jesmonite eco-friendly?
Firstly, it does not emit VOCs, which forms ground-level O3 and affect human health.
Secondly, it is water-based and thus less likely to contaminate both land and water compared to solvent-based (i.e., oil) materials.
Lastly, it is air-dried naturally and does not require firing like in pottery which utilises a lot of energy.
