Frequently Asked Queries
Queries on Awards & Momentos
Can I customise the design of my awards?
Yes, you can! There are primarily two forms of customisation
services offered:
A. Design Customisation
You can provide us with a design brief and leave the
designing of the awards to us! This will require an additional 2.5 – 3 weeks
lead time where we will design, 3D model and render options before proceeding
on production.
B. Style Customisation
With our existing award designs, we can customise the style
(terrazzo or marbling) and waste (plastic waste or used coffee grounds)
incorporated, as well as the colours of each award.
What is the price range of trophies?
This is dependent on several factors:
- Size of trophy
- Quantity
- Type of engraving material (e.g. wood or metal plate)
Alternatively, if you have a budget in mind, we can propose designs and options within the budget.
Please feel free to reach out to us at hello@brambe.com for a quote.
Can I upcycle wastes generated by my organisation into the awards?
Yes, it is definitely possible and we can upcycle the plastic wastes in terrazzo designs and used coffee grounds in marbling designs.
However, please note that the waste provided shall be cleaned and there will be a minimal fee charged for waste processing.

Queries on Homewares
How is Jesmonite eco-friendly?
Firstly, it does not emit VOCs, which forms ground-level O3 and affect human health.
Secondly, it is water-based and thus less likely to contaminate both land and water compared to solvent-based (i.e., oil) materials.
Lastly, it is air-dried naturally and does not require firing like in pottery which utilises a lot of energy.
What is the texture of Jesmonite?
In our opinion, the texture closely resembles porcelain or polished concrete.
How to care for my piece?
To maintain its surface, avoid both harsh cleaning products and scrubbing vigourously. Simply, wipe it down with a damp cloth!
Why are there gaps in my piece?
They are air bubbles! As each piece is carefully handcrafted, it is natural for such details to exist.
Is my piece fragile?
No, the properties of Jesmonite are similar to that of concrete. It is highly resilient against abrasion and impact.
My order is a gift. Can I make special requests?
Definitely! You can leave a personalised message under 'Notes' when checking out. We will do our best to accomodate to any other requests.
What are the delivery options and processing time?
We will require a maximum of 5 working days to prepare your order and local courier is charged at a flat rate of $5 per order. Free delivery for orders above $100.
Alternatively, self-collection is available at #07-240, 1014 Geylang East Avenue 3, Singapore 389729 (Paya Lebar MRT Exit B).
Queries on Brambe
How does Brambe employ a sustainable ethos?
Materials
Our primary material is Jesmonite, an eco-friendly composite material. We also upcycle plastic, aluminium, food and horticultural wastes by incorporating them into our designs. We are also exploring shell-food wastes.
Production
All pieces are slow-made, meaning that they are ethically produced locally with minimization of carbon footprint in mind.
Additionally, all unused Jesmonite materials are reused into our production cycle as terrazzo flakes, generating a cradle-to-cradle, closed-loop production process.
*Psst, cradle-to-cradle suggests that waste materials are reincorporated as inputs for production, resulting in a cyclically material flow.
Cradle-To-Grave Approach
We assume responsibility for the full life cycle of our pieces where we offer recollection and upcycling services which is further elaborated under 'Services'.*Psst, cradle-to-grave suggests the entire lifespan of a product, up till the point of disposal.
How does Brambe employ extended producer responsibility (EPR)?
At the end-of-life of your piece, we would love to collect and upcycle it into future products while offering store credits in return. Alternatively, we also offer personalised upcycling services to give it a new life, albeit recasting into the same or different product. This way, we assume responsibility for our pieces' whole life-cycle and attempt to minimise the environmental impact caused by us.
Please get in touch with us via email at hello@brambe.com.
*Psst, EPR is a strategy employed by a producer to minimise environmental impact of a product by assuming responsibility of end-of-life stage. This could be employed through product design, collection, treatment and many others to reduce waste generated!
